Multiple Driver Modes
Driver modes customize your ride to the driving conditions, providing a safer and more comfortable experience. The Escalade IQ has five modes to choose from. Tour Mode is the option you’ll use most often, as it’s designed to provide a smooth ride under normal conditions. Snow/Ice Mode controls wheel power to prevent skidding on snow or ice. Tow/Haul Mode adjusts balance, suspension, and steering when you’re pulling a trailer.
Sport Mode stiffens the suspension and increases steering responsiveness at high speed. It also produces a sports-oriented motor sound. My Mode allows you to customize braking, steering, suspension, and handling to your needs. The Escalade also features Easy-Entry Mode, which lowers your vehicle, making it easier to get in or out.
Exciting Technology
The Escalade IQ features a massive 55″ curved OLED screen that stretches pillar to pillar. On this screen, the driver information systems are displayed in the section directly in front of the steering wheel for easy viewing, with the infotainment system controls located to its right. The infotainment screen is fast and very responsive, with large icons for easier identification.
Google Built-In is installed, giving you hands-free access to Google Play, Google Maps, Google Assistant, and more. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also installed, so you can quickly and easily pair your smartphone. You can add even more technology, like the available Night Vision, which uses thermal imaging to show pedestrians, animals, and other warm objects ahead of you in the dark.
All-Electric Power
Dual electric motors power the Escalade IQ, delivering 615 hp and 680 lb-ft of torque. You can improve this impressive performance even further by selecting Velocity Max Mode, which delivers 750 hp and 785 lb-ft of torque, and provides 0 to 60 mph in under 5 seconds. The motors are powered by a large 205 kWh battery pack that will give you 460 miles between recharges.
The battery has a 350 kW charging capacity, so you can add 100 miles in range after only ten minutes of charging at a DC Fast Charging station. The battery is so powerful that you can even power your home during a blackout if you install a GM Energy PowerShift Charger and GM Energy V2H Enablement Kit.
